Registration and participation
Registration for a course/workshop can only be done in writing by submitting the completed registration form on the website of Boekbinderij Papyrus.
Entry also means that you agree to the terms as described here. In all here further described provisions apply to the postal stamp/e-mail delivery date as the date of shipment.
The course/workshop takes place at the location as indicated in the description. Should a change occur in this, then no later than 4 weeks before the start of the course/workshop you will be informed in writing. You are then free to choose whether you want to participate in the course/workshop or not. Within two weeks of shipment of the location change approval should be given in writing or by e-mail. In case of no or late response the participation at the course/workshop will be considered as confirmed.
A digital invoice (pdf) will be sent by e-mail. The total costs mentioned above must be received no later than 4 weeks after the billing date must be credited to the bank account specified on the invoice. This invoice is also the confirmation of the registration.
If canceled, the following rules apply:
Cancellation may be given verbally, but always must be confirmed in writing (paper or e-mail). Cancellation can take place no later than 3 weeks prior to the course / workshop. The amount already paid is then refunded minus 5% administration fee.
If canceled between 3 weeks and 1 week prior to the course/workshop, 50% of the amount is refunded. In case of cancellation
less than 1 week after the invoice date, no refund can be made.
Cancellation at workshops or courses by (foreign) guest lecturers.
Capturing (foreign) guest teachers requires the necessary time and effort and associated costs.
Therefore, in those cases, a different cancellation scheme applies.

Cancellation can only be done in writing or by e-mail.
Cancellation can take place no later than 4 weeks after the invoice date of the course/workshop.
The amount already paid, then lowered with 10% administration fee will be refunded.
In case of cancellation later than 4 weeks after the invoice date, no refund can be made.

Any force majeure must be consulted via the oral (also: telephone) way or by letter by e-mail or on paper. The use of social media, what’s app, or text or i-message is not recognized in this.
If you do not appear at the workshop without notice, refund is not possible.
Failure to comply with the financial obligations, after the first recourse, may take legal action to comply of payment of the claim. The resulting costs will be borne by the participant (m/f). Also can the existing participation agreement be dissolved.
Should the course/workshop, for any reason, not be able to proceed because of the absence of the teacher, one becomes hereby be informed in writing and the money already paid is fully refunded.
Participation in a course/workshop is done for your own responsibility. This means that damage to body and personal property (or loss) are at your own risk.
